WHAT IS AUDIO STREAMING?

In a nutshell, audio streaming is the transmission of audio content from an internet based  "radio station" to your computer or mobile device. The content may consist of live events, podcasts, or music of all types from all over the globe. You simply install an application, or "app" to your device and choose the content you want to hear. Most users prefer music of course, and there are hundreds of genres and playlists to choose from. Many streaming services are completely free, however you may have to listen to advertisements and may have limited ability to skip songs. Most services offer enhanced features and zero commercials for a small monthly fee. Because of copyright limits, you won't be able to repeat songs (skip back) in most situations. If you have content already downloaded on your phone then you can use all the pause and skip functions.

After installing a streaming app to your smartphone, you will then connect (via Bluetooth) to your converted car radio, then start enjoying! If you are unsure how to connect a Bluetooth device please watch the demo video. Please be aware that streaming uses cellular data which can add some cost unless you have an unlimited data plan. Check with your cellular provider if not sure.
